Follow your Heart.

Let me start with a flashback, will rewind to 22 years back, A day before my 10th public exams results (as I promised, in my first blog I'm covering this incident here). Of course, it was the summer holiday and I have completed my class 10th public exams, what would I be doing? I was playing in the streets in the evening and I was also learning the business from my grad father during mornings and after lunch also, roam in my chariot ( TVS 50) . My day came home from the shop more than usual, I had no clues why he is stepping out of the shop when there is a customer. In by evening I noticed the same behavior he stepped in-home and on curious I followed him to see why he is at home. He rushed and I happen to notice that he had a loose motion that day. The cause for it was me😜when he saw me at the home he asked are you not worried about your results? As I was an average student in the class with very bad handwriting he concluded that I may not pass and I'll give him a bad reput...

There is no secret ingredient

Actually, today I'm not prepared to reflect on my learning about the last lecture session of MOB. But, I'm writing this today? its because of a small event/incident that unfurled at the tail end of the day. One of my reportee was posting the weekly update in a call with the client, my intuition said to me that the client is not getting the concept that he is trying to explain, if I interrupt him, then I'm sure his flow would be broken so I passed on a message asking him to do a demo, by that means she will get the crux right. She agreed to the demo but due to lack of time, she asked for the demo after an hour or so.  Why would I need to tell all these stories? and what is so fascinating about this story and why I wanted it to reflect on my learning now?  After an hour and 30 minutes, he posted me saying the client was really happy with what he was doing. A call after that message and the outcome of the call. This guy is a talented guy but he often gets into some...

Don't stop when you're tired, Stop when you're done.

Don't stop when you're tired. Stop when you're done. Believe in yourself & anything is possible. Silence is better than unnecessary drama.  Good things take time. All we have is now. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy. If your dreams don't scare you, they are too small. Success is not an activity, but a process. Making mistakes is better than faking perfection. The best way you get started is to quit talking and begin doing. You know what I read motivational quotes similar to the one above or when I do a retrospective on course deviation or when I hear someone who has achieved great things or when I dream for big, I'll be getting energy like the water gushing out of a dam which was just opened. With kind that energy I'll start to dig things that come in front of me Wait! Wait! Wait! don't jump to a conclusion that I'm a highly self-motivated person by nature😜. There is also another side of me, I'll take few steps f...

Roller Coaster

Just imagine the following scene and try to imagine the feelings that you would have for each and every step when you take a roller coaster ride: You're in an amusement park and you see a very good roller coaster, You have decided to take that ride and standing in the queue, Your turn comes and you brace yourself with the belts, The Roller coaster starts with a jerk, Slowly moving towards the peak and stops for a while in between, Then with a jerk moves to the peak and stops for free fall, Here comes a twist and turns, ups and downs,  Finally stops. Phew!!!!!! Hope you have imagined the feelings in each and every step, For me it goes like this typically,  Love to get into the ride Curious & Excited Anxious Fear Afraid Joy + Fun Entertainment  That's it???????? During my 10th session of MOB, Prof. Viji was not, as usual, she used to be in the class, all of a sudden she started to behave like a school teacher, blasted almost more than half of the class, and left ...

MOB's Second Stimulator

When I sit for MOB sessions I have always felt that my Prof. Viji is one of the great stimulator(s) and when she introduced Mr. Shiva just less than a minute in session 9, I guess she had set very high expectations in most of our minds and it did not stop there, as Shiva started his own version of introduction like: Entrepreneur  Visiting faculty Corporate coach Advocate & Night Clerk Ho man! I was literally amazed at the following: Number of professions (s)  Nature of each profession Kind of people Kind of experience & The transformation from one to other Did it stop there? Nah! The moment he introduced me a new word to the vocabulary list, I was really stunned and I was reminded " கற்றது கைமண் அளவு , கல்லாதது உலகளவு " so what is that word? Biomimicry,  I know what mimicry is but for the first time in my life I was introduced Biomimicry I felt my curiosity hormones levels are shooting up higher now.  Ho yes! The wind turbine's design is inspired by whales. M...

DM

In social media era, when I say DM then our minds would definitely think about Direct Message. Unfortunately, I'm going to reflect my thought on D ecision M aking in this post as part of reflective journal for session - 7 & session - 8. Everyone of us irrespective of our age we would have made few decisions in our life knowingly or unknowingly and the decision to be taken might be as big as rolling out a reform in a country or it can be choosing one toy over other by a child. The following are few questions and answers that I perceive with respect to decision making. Is it easy to decide? I would say yes, no and maybe  Will my decision be constant irrespective of number of time(s) I need to decide? May be no from my side. Will someone collide with our decision given the same parameters? there is a high probability for collision. So the question is why there is a lot of uncertainty with respect to DM? I think its basically because, before we decide, an array of factors...

Yes, I have jumped signals :(

Wow! This my 4th post in this blog series, In the last post I started with a title that might be little C ontroversy question or may be not (just with my thoughts), but this time I wanted to start with a C onfession Yes, I have jumped signals. Why should I confess in the title? In session-6 our discussion topic was Ethics . What is Ethics? Is it relative or absolute? it depends on the situation? Let me go through few scenarios in my life and see whether I have been ethical or not. First, let me go through Signal jumping case. In India, signal jumping is quite common in any signal and I'm sure most of you would have hear this in India, if it's green go, yellow go fast, red go faster. I'm not saying everyone jumping but a significant number of folks are jumping. Let me not get into why others are  jumping but, I'll let you know when/why I have jumped: When an Ambulance is behind me, I don't have a choice to skip On a medical emergency  When someone behind me honking ...
