Roller Coaster

Just imagine the following scene and try to imagine the feelings that you would have for each and every step when you take a roller coaster ride:

  1. You're in an amusement park and you see a very good roller coaster,
  2. You have decided to take that ride and standing in the queue,
  3. Your turn comes and you brace yourself with the belts,
  4. The Roller coaster starts with a jerk,
  5. Slowly moving towards the peak and stops for a while in between,
  6. Then with a jerk moves to the peak and stops for free fall,
  7. Here comes a twist and turns, ups and downs,
  8. Finally stops.

Phew!!!!!! Hope you have imagined the feelings in each and every step, For me it goes like this typically,

  1. Love to get into the ride
  2. Curious & Excited
  3. Anxious
  4. Fear
  5. Afraid
  6. Joy + Fun
  7. Entertainment
  8. That's it????????

During my 10th session of MOB, Prof. Viji was not, as usual, she used to be in the class, all of a sudden she started to behave like a school teacher, blasted almost more than half of the class, and left the online session. All of us are clueless :(, the moment she left the class we did not even realize what's happening around and had discussions in Webex and in Whatsapp group. Someone in the group even asked whether she was mocking her behavior and all of the sudden she came joined back with a gala song playing and she was dancing for the same, till the moment she joined back we had gone through few emotions which we often encounter.  In a matter of 5 minutes, I think most of us had a similar experience like a roller-coaster ride.

That's where she pitched and said that session is all about emotions! Why did she do so? As the session is all about emotion she wanted to make sure that we are able to identify the typical encounters w.r.t to emotions in our day today's life!

Handling emotions is a challenging task especially for myself as far as I know and what I have learned are the following:

  • It's highly impossible to control emotions
  • Let the emotions flow freely but, make sure you don't hurt while it's flowing
  • Build insulation within yourself in such a way that others emotions are not affecting you
  • When you're dealing with -ve emotions try to take it easy and divert yourself as much as possible
  • With your emotional competence try to inspire others.
  • At work, there is no place for hard feelings :D.
Thank you for reading, let's catch up in the next post!!!!

What's RLJ & Why RLJ?

What is RLJ? RLJ, is one of the acronym that I'm connected to the most when compared to other acronyms in my life span, each and every cells in my body is aware of what is RLJ and what made RLJ a unique. RLJ is a symbol of trust that's been developed/built from the scratch for about 6-7 decades, I'm sure developing trust is one of the most hard part in this world and maintaining that same trust also requires same amount of contributions. Though RLJ is very much associated to my family, when I wanted to choose my carrier I have decided not get into RLJ for a while and I'm still staying away from it. Why I'm stay away? when it has its own charisma,  because of the obsession & possessiveness that my father and grandfather holds with it and during my late teens & early 20's I was a bit skeptical to get myself associated along with them, as they had devoted their life entirely for it without any rest or entertainment thinking only to get RLJ running in full t...

Follow your Heart.

Let me start with a flashback, will rewind to 22 years back, A day before my 10th public exams results (as I promised, in my first blog I'm covering this incident here). Of course, it was the summer holiday and I have completed my class 10th public exams, what would I be doing? I was playing in the streets in the evening and I was also learning the business from my grad father during mornings and after lunch also, roam in my chariot ( TVS 50) . My day came home from the shop more than usual, I had no clues why he is stepping out of the shop when there is a customer. In by evening I noticed the same behavior he stepped in-home and on curious I followed him to see why he is at home. He rushed and I happen to notice that he had a loose motion that day. The cause for it was me😜when he saw me at the home he asked are you not worried about your results? As I was an average student in the class with very bad handwriting he concluded that I may not pass and I'll give him a bad reput...
